LEAVE THAT VAGINA NATURAL

Vagina may be ugly-looking. Leave it that way. You are certainly not more intelligent than God, the infinite wisdom, who created it that way. Don't beautify it. Your cosmetics aren't meant for it. It's in tune with the will divine that it may appear ugly for in it's uglines lies it's beauty.

The vagina produces a somewhat smelly aroma. In its smelly ambience lies its tastiness. That is why it is one meat fir tbe elderly. A healthy vagina produces a whitish and clear substance which is slightly on the increase during ovulation, pregnancy and lactation. This substance which does not produce any offensive odour is a natural antibiotic against germs and infections. This whitish odourless substance which the inexperienced calls DISCHARGE plays the important role of helping the vagina retain its freshness by cleaning  and moisturing it.

The vagina thrives well and does better under an atmosphere of unfettered liberty. It enjoys freedom - freedom from heat and freedom from overgrown bushes. Your vagina is not a prisoner to your long, thick and most times black pants and tights. The color black attracts and radiates heat. That's why it's not used in labs. So, if possible use other colours other than black. To retain the freshness and natural habitat of your vagina, air it regularly. The vagina is like any other living organism. It requires lots of air. Allow it to inhale some fresh air. This you can do by walking naked in the privacy of your bedroom and spreading your legs wide open while in your bed. Mark my words, I said in the privacy of your bedroom. Not in the marketplace of brothel.

Avoid excessive and overgrown bushes in your vaginal hemisphere, especially in the vulva region. Cut down the length and height of that forest around your vagina. Time has gone when combable pubic hair was an attraction. It's messy, violent and dirty these days if you ask me. Moreso, it generates more heat that helps in killing the natural habitat of the vagina.

Every vagina has at least a customer. To retain, the clientele of your vagina, avoid douching! God is the creator of vagina, and God does no junk. In his conceptualization and design, the vagina is structured to be self-cleaning. It does not need your help to clean itself. It's structure consists of a healthy balance of good and bad microbes that keep it free from infections. When you use these anti-septic/anti-bacterial soaps and products on it, you kill the good bacteria, like lactobacillus, and this exposes you to infections. All you need to wash your vagina with, is CLEAN WATER.

When you clean your anus after using the toilet, don't clean from back to front. When you do, you risk picking up microbes from your anus and introducing them into your vagina. For the same reason, for those that do anal sex, you should make sure not to go from anal to vaginal sex without changing the condom or properly cleaning up first. Avoid all these artificial cleaners. They destroy the vaginal natural flora.

For unmarried ladies, reduce the extent and scope of commercializing your vagina. Frequent to and fro movement there exposes it to wear and tear. Since this advice may not be too popular, as you ply your trade, use condoms properly and consistently, and make sure you are not allergic to them. If you discover you are allergic to any particular brand of condoms, discover your best brand and stick to it.

ABIA POLITICAL COMBANTANS: LET'S FIGHT CLEAN

ABIA POLITICAL COMBANTANS: LET'S FIGHT CLEAN

TODAY, the Ikpeazu led government is moving a step further in laying a solid foundation for the state by making democracy not just a system of government but a way of life. In the civilized world where  institutions of the State have evolved over the years to the level of becoming self-sustaining and self-regulatory, this may not be anything unusual but being confronted with the reality that the last council election held here some ten years ago, this calls for commendation. It is therefore in this light, that I doff my hat for the present administration for doing what ought to be done.

One dominant feature of election is that it is periodic. As this one holds today, another one has already been slatted to hold in about two years from now. That a political power seeker has another chance of trying again - that is if he does not succeed presently - give him much hope and cushions whatever disappointment and failure he may encounter at the moment. To me and many a progressive politician, each time a politician throws his hat into the ring, two things stares him in the face - failure or success. In this game of political chess, it is all about displacing others or being displaced. If you succeed in displacing others, yiu have won but if you get displaced, that means you are have been defeated. Give and take, it is a zero sum game.

What does this imply in today's sport? There are bound to be winners and losers will out number the winners. For those that will win, you have my congratulations and best wishes but I pray you in the name of God - nothing pays like being humble and magnanimous in victory. The chances of failure for him who has won an election are far higher than those who failed elections. And such failure is always far more catastrophic and ignominious. If you win today, extend a warm hand of fellowship to him or those who are adjudged to have failed. The race, according to the holy book is neither for the smart nor the battle for the swift but chance and time happeneth to them all. In the words of Achebe, let those whose palm kernel was cracked for them by a benevolent spirit not be impatient with less successful men.

For those that will not make it today, you have my respect and congratulations. Failing an election does not mean you are not credible or acceptable by the electorates. It does not mean that the adjudged winner is better than you. As a man who has contested and lost elections, I stand to tell you that there is more to losing an election than losing an election. Politics is a strategic warfar prosecuted without arms. A good contestant could be likened to a combantant soldier. In a war situation, if a good combatant is caught in an ambush by an enemy with superior firepower, such experienced soldier is not expected to waste his life and those of his troops fighting for the honor of being thought strong and courageous. When you are outnumbered and out-flanked by the enemy, it is expected of you to beat a retreat, and once you have pulled your men to safety then, you have to restrategise and relaunch an offensive. That's the beauty and hope of this war called politics. If you doubt me ask President Buhari and even the president elect of Ghana.

Conclusively, there's absolutely no need for desperation. If we must fight today, let us fight with our mouth but certainly not our fist. Let no single blood be spilt today in the name of election. Let us fight clean. Let brotherly love prevail. After all, tomorrow promises to be better and rossier.

THE CANONIZATION OF NNAMDI KANU (1)

THE CANONIZATION OF NNAMDI KANU (1)

I wish to start this discourse by saying that I am not a fan of Nnamdi Kanu. I don't begrudge his fanatics, and they are very many, just the same way I reserve the right not to buy into the ideals which he presumably represents and propagates. In the same way, I do not subscribe to the tenets of Biafra of the field but I am a firm believer of the Biafra of the mind. To me, the realization of the tenets and ideals of Biafra and Biafranism do not and cannot find expression and fulfillment in dismemberment and balkanization of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our dear Nigeria but in the institutionalization and domestication of those principles and ideals whose absence fuel and justify the agitation for Biafra. And these ideals and principles include but not limited to freedom, equality and social justice.

As it is today, nothing typifies the dehumanization, marginalisation, subjugation and degradation of a people, in this case the Igbos of the defunct Eastern Region, than the continous illegal detaintion of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. That the Buhari-led government has obstinatly detained Nnamdi Kanu in outright disregard to numerous court orders casts very grim doubt on the democratic pretentions of this government even as it renders the raison detre behind the trial of Nnamdi Kanu suspect. That Nnamdi Kanu so occupies a pride of place in the order of priority of this government to the extent that the government is opting for his trial in secret makes many an analyst conclude that what this idealistic youth is being subjected to is not a judicial prosecution but a state sponsored persecution.

The Nigerian State may not know but it is true - Nnamdi Kanu is stealing the show. In persecuting him, they are inadvertently canonizing him even while he lives. They are making him a major issue, and in making him a major issue they are turning him to a super hero. Early this week, the trial judge granted the government a favorable nod to subject Nnamdi Kanu to a secret trial. By making and obtaining this application, the government shot itself on the leg as it were. Never a man to allow a golden opportunity slip off, Nnamdi Kanu courageously and openly accused the State as epitomised by our President as working from judgement to trial. He openly assured President Buhari that try as he might, he cannot imprison him. The height of the dance of shame was when Nnamdi Kanu blurted - "what's the nonsense of trying me in secret when you are killing my people in the open? Rubbish!"

DRIVE SLOWLY TO ARRIVE EARLY

DRIVE SLOWLY TO ARRIVE EARLY:

In talking to you this afternoon, I cannot but narrate a particular incident that I  transpired between my father and I as I was growing up. My dad once owned a very prized asset - SUZUKI 125. Those days, the quest and lure of ridding that motor cycle was obsessive. Not minding entreaties from my mother and stern warning from my dad, I would always find a way of cruising round the village at killing speed, especially around our secondary school so that  my friends could see me.

At a time Papa had to accept the unpalatable and costly reality that the motor cycle was no longer strictly his but ours. It was one bitter-sweet reality to him as our co-ownership of the motor cycle meant incessant visits to mechanic workshops with its attendant unbudgeted costs. One fateful day, he gave me the honor of conveying him to my elder sister's place on the said motor cycle. To get to where my elder sister is married, you have to pass through our secondary area. As such, I had to speed in a way to impress both my dad, friends and fans. As I sped crazily, my dad did a very simple but extremely didactic thing that has remained ever fresh in my life. He tapped me on the back and said: "BOY, RIDE SLOWLY THAT WE MAY ARRIVE ON TIME". Thinking it was a slip of tongue on his part, I accelerated my speed. After a while, he beckoned on me once again saying: "ENYI,  REDUCE YOUR SPEED FOR US TO ARRIVE ON TIME". Of course, I hadn't any option than to do as he commanded but the import of his instruction was lost on me till much later in life.

As I become daily confronted with the craze, the fury, the noise, the maddening rush, the cacophony of tunes, the haste and impatience I begin to wonder where we are rushing to and for what? In the mist of all these, I have learnt to stay my haste, and not to out run my shadows. I can hear a voice saying: "the race is neither for the smart nor the battle for the brave but it's chance and time that happeneth to them all".
